Introducing BRIDGE¶

BRIDGE is a collaborative effort across the U.S. Department of Energy's Biological and Environmental Research (BER) community to connect the data, schemas, and software produced by its major resources. This site is the entry point into that work.

BRIDGE seeks to enable scientific researchers to find and query across BER resources to gain insight and make discoveries using the broad variety of data generate by partner organizations by providing several tools:

• A federated data lakehouse.
• Data models.
• A cross-lakehouse registry.

This site collects the public-facing pieces of that work: the Data Lakehouse architecture, the Data Modeling landing page with links to each partner schema and its repository, and the team driving the project forward. The blog will carry release notes, design decisions, and community-call summaries as the system matures.
